2012 Season Predictions

With one preseason game under their belts the Packers prepare to build on their historic 15-1 season of 2011. Injuries to key contributors, however, will serve as a barrier to Mike McCarthy’s group. As is the tradition, Packer Nation’s experts weigh in on the outcomes of all sixteen regular season games plus the postseason.

Great minds think alike, right Matthew? *grins* Last season’s 15-1 record would be hard to match (although this team could run the table if the defense improves). Still, I think 14-2 is a fairly safe bet.

I’m also thinking 13-3. But for some reason, I’m really starting to think the same as Brady did in the playoffs. Maybe it is paranoia on my part, but the Packers despite all the glory 15-1 looks really did not play well down the stretch last year. Let’s not even discuss the playoff failure. If the defense struggles at all this season, this team will not go far in the playoffs. They have more than enough firepower on offense to outscore their opponents, but if they can’t play defense, they won’t advance far come January.
