olineBryan Bulaga will be staying with the Pack. Initial reports yesterday indicated that he and the Packers had reached a deal and no one in Packernation is happier than Aaron Rodgers. Bulaga has been a stalwart right tackle for the Packers (drafted 23rd overall in 2010) and during the times he has been injured, he has been sorely missed.

According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, Bulaga has agreed to a five-year, $33.75 million deal, which equates to $6.75 million per season. This number was enough to keep Bulaga in Green Bay and keep the Packers O-line intact. This for an offensive line that many consider one of the top ten or so in the NFL.

Most Dangerous Substance on Earth - Packer Offense

So celebrate, Packernation! And celebrate Aaron Rodgers, because the Packers have kept your O-line together and hopefully next season, you won’t even get your jersey grass-stained!

Go Pack!

I believe that the Packers look to the CB position and special teams need. The inside line backer is finding someone smart and fast. Not a hard position to fill and why was easy to say goodbye to Hawk and Jones. Run stopper in the middle and everything is good.

They have four to six linebackers already on the roster not counting Matthews that can fill the ILB position this year. Barrington will be a starter and then they have Bradford,Thomas,Francis,Hubbard and Lattimore. I believe I wrote a piece about this earlier so the ILB position may not be as important as some might believe this year but I am sure TT will pick up at least one more in the draft.
