Playoff Victory R&R: Packers Defeat Washington

You like that, huh, You like that? "R-E-L-A-X" The Packers started this game like they have all season.. weak, but they finished like they have all season...strong. The difference was that they started finishing strong in the second quarter instead of waiting until the fourth. Aaron Rodgers taking a safety just brought visions of "Here we go again!" to this fan, I thought he said he was going to let it fly this game yet there he was standing in the end zone holding the ball. Washington was fired up and looked to have momentum in their favor going up 11-0 in…

R&R Packers/Vikings

The loss to the Vikings is just another prime example of why McCarthy should never have made changes in his coaching staff. I have been saying all year, even when they were 6-0 the offense was not the same with Bennett as their offensive coordinator. It's too late to change things back to the way it was last year but if Murphy don't step in and make Thompson and McCarthy accountable for their mistake this offense will be doomed again next season. Van Pelt is obviously no WR coach by the way they have struggled this year so Bennett needs…

Packernation and, I fear, the Packers team are becoming polarized as to their opinion about where this team is right now. On the one hand, we are a ten win team and in the playoffs yet again. This opinion was clearly stated by Mike McCarthy in his press conference after the Raiders game. On the other hand, our offense has really not shown itself to be dominant like in the past and has continued to have long stretches of ineffectiveness. This opinion was clear when Aaron Rodgers took the lecturn and culminated in his comment that "we have a fun…

With the "Motor City Miracle", the Packers put themselves in position to once again regain control of the NFC North. This was confirmed yesterday when the Seahawks beat the Vikings. While the offense was a comedy of errors for the most part in the Lions game, a "W" is a "W" and the Packers will take it. Add to that the fact that Lions were on a roll and playing at home and this important win, while it didn't show that the offense was "there" is still one that yielded the most exciting win of the year and some other…

Packers Get It Done!

When the Packers needed one...they got it! Up against the wall with a one game deficit to the Minnesota Vikings, the Packers got a big win with the Vikings having a one game lead in the NFC North. The trick is that the Vikings have a VERY difficult stretch coming up and the Packers need to get wins against the Bears and then the Lions in upcoming weeks. The offense finally got some rhythm with Rodgers 16 of 33 with two touchdowns with four and a half minutes to go in the game. But again...this team played give up ball…
