Packer Nation Poll: NFC North Record

  3 weeks ago     71 Views     2 Comments

The NFC North sent two teams to the playoffs last year, one of which made it all the way to the NFC Championship in the Green Bay Packers. With training camp at hand, the Packers look to put together a team that can repeat the successes of last year without the early offensive disconnect and through-line of injuries and bad play from the defensive backfield. Several veteran players will be missing from training camp this year leaving a gap in leadership. However, several free agents have been added and an infusion of speed on the defense has combined to provide…

How Good Does the Running Game Need to Be?

Aaron Rodgers has been a stalwart for the Packers since he took the helm after the exit of Brett Favre. Early in his career, he got a Super Bowl, but he hasn’t been back since. Exactly one month from the start of training camp I think there is as much excitement for this Packers team as I have seen in a long time. The offense, in particular, makes everyone in Packer Nation slide a little closer to the edge of their seat. The addition of Bennett and Kendricks, along with Evans have taken away the fear of veteran exits and enhanced them with important additions. Along with that, the returning players, and the rookies that the Packers drafted at the running back and the wide receiver positions should bode well for the offense. But there…

Player Relaxation and Fan Anticipation Part Two: The O-line

1 month ago     33 Views     Leave your thoughts

Other than Letroy Guion's gaff with the law this week, the Packers players are presumably enjoying their relaxation without breaking the law. This player relaxation time is important to the team as once the end of July comes, there is no turning back and the football season begins. Last week, we talked about the running backs, today, I want to talk about the O-line. (more…)
