Mock draft 2.0 by Jeff Hayes

As I said in my first mock draft I have the right to change my mind so I figured I would do an alternative to my first.
I will put the name of the player I had in the first mock next to the round then put this mock’s pick below.

1st round, Joe Mixon RB Oklahoma

Tj Watt OLB Wisconsin, this seems to be the fan favorite this year and he very well could be a Packer if he is there at 29 but the way it’s looking teams are starting to notice his potential and should go in the top 20.

2nd round, Jordan Willis OLB, Kansas St

D’Onta Foreman RB Texas, At 6′ 233 lbs this kid is a bruiser so couple him with Montgomery and they will have the thunder & lightning package this year.

3rd round, Chris Wormley DE, Michigan

Sidney Jones CB Washington, Not sure if he will still be here but he tore his achilles at his pro day, projected as a top 20 talent before the injury but is now dropped to the 3rd round by analysts because he may be out at least half the season if not more but from what he is saying he will be ready by opening day, The way I see it if they can get him in the 3rd even if he sits this season they will have a shut down corner for next year.

4th round, Dorian Johnson OG

Jeremy Clark CB Michigan, He is recovering from an ACL that ended his season so didn’t run at the combine but film on him shows an aggressive corner at 6’3″ 220 lbs he’s just what they need to cover big receivers, He will be game ready by training camp so he is my 2nd steal pick this draft.

5th round, Quincy Adeboyejo WR, Mississippi

Brian Allen DB Utah, At 6’3″ I had him as the 6th round in the last mock and as I stated he is a tall corner/safety with 4.4 speed but he is very raw and needs time to mature but put him behind the 4 corners I believe they are going with this season and let him develop he could be a sleeper by next season moving into the starter.

6th round, Brian Allen DB Utah

Danny Isidora G Miami, 6’3″ 306 lbs. he is the prototypical type of guard Thompson likes to take and develop but he is athletic so in a pinch could step in and play if needed year one but he will be a starter in 2 or 3 year.

7th round, Mike Tyson S, Cincinnati

Brooks Ellis ILB Arkansas, Ellis is a solid player but his lack of speed is the reason he will be a bottom of the draft or even a free agent but I figured he could be a good back up to Ryan & Martinez if one of them gets injured this year

Well this is my second mock let us know your thoughts in the comments below or on our fb home page.

Thanks, Jeff

We have an eighth pick in there somewhere.
Make that one one of the ILB’s from LSU in the 5th and make the 7th a WR.
