Can the Offensive Line Stay at the Top of Their Game?

The Packers offensive line was a definite strength last season. Even with a major change at the left guard position, Lane Taylor was more than adequate, especially as a run blocker but also had a huge block on a linebacker in space that made it possible for Aaron Rodgers to throw the critical completion to Jared Cook in the Divisional round against the Cowboys. Looking Forward to the Return of Power Play Action

The Packers' 12 personnel group was one that the Packers want to use more in 2017. Last season they used it with some success at times but with the addition of Martellus Bennett and Lance Kendricks, it would seem that group should be improved from last year. But the passing game is not the only aspect of the offense that will benefit from these additions. The Packers will now take their final break before training camp. One recurring theme in the press conferences that was also highlighted by coach McCarthy's presser earlier today was the fact that the athleticism of this year's team "jumps off the page". Offseason Analysis: One Formations To Stick With in 2017

The off-season is a great time to analyze what worked and what didn't for the 2016 Packers team. Today I want to talk about one formation that was deployed from time to time last year and did not meet with as much success as expected. The Packers rolled out this formation against the Dallas Cowboys in week six last year and, frankly, it didn't work.
