The exits of Brad Jones and AJ Hawk this offseason were perhaps the most significant departures (along with Tramon Williams perhaps) for the Packers hopes of getting back to the NFC Championship to right the wrongs of last season. With BJ Raji back and new blood sweating on the field today in OTA's, Packernation should still feel good that the defense can pick up where it left off last season. But here is the question? Mike McCarthy addressed the media today after OTA's and I gotta say I, while there was not a whole lot of information about individual players, I really liked what I heard. First of all, McCarthy made it a point to express that he is enjoying himself. In response to a question about his more active role in the special teams unit, he responded, "Coaching is still coaching regardless of what position you work with. James Vaughters stands 6'2" and weighs in at 254 pounds. He plays outside linebacker for the most part but has moved inside on occasion, while he has good size to play in the NFL he just don't have the speed or so they say but watching this video he looks plenty fast enough to me.
