James Jones is going to have some work to do to prove he was worth the cost of Myles White's job. I think he will do that and possibly more. When a receiver "loses a step" what does that mean? Often it means he is simply not as fast as he used to be. Well, the Packers have been proving for years that just being a speed burner is not enough. Mike McCarthy addressed the media this afternoon and was very happy to have James Jones back in the fold. It is yet to be seen how Jones will be implemented in the season opener as he has new installs to learn and no time at all to do it. When the Packers lost Jordy Nelson, the idea of signing Jones became very sexy as a guy who had led the league in touchdowns...but years before.
