On Sunday, Mason Crosby became the Packers all-time scoring leader passing another kicker, Ryan Longwell, for the honors. For most teams, the kicker is typically the scoring leader. After all, every time he touches the ball it's either in an effort to score or just following a score. Add to the the fact that the position is a low-impact one and the tenure of a kicker far out-distances the other players on the team. X Files to Reboot After NFC Championship January 24

FOX is putting a lot on the line with its reboot of the X Files. In an attempt to guarantee success they have scheduled the first episode of the relaunch for January 24th, right after the NFC Championship game. Hopefully, this will be a big boon for Packers fans who are also fans of the X Files. A win by the Pack and the return of an old favorite could make for quite an entertaining night. (more…)

Yesterday's poll (to participate, click here) showed that Packernation, for the most part, went one of two ways in choosing their most anticipated game of the 2015 season. The most anticipated game was the rematch between the Packers and the Seahawks in Week 2, but in a close second was the Thanksgiving day game with the Bears at which Brett Favre's jersey is expected to be retired. With a win over the Bucs, the Pack clinches a playoff spot and next week, against the dirtiest team in the NFL (aka the Detroit Lions), will be playing for the NFC North title. With this game being played in Lambeau where the Packers have not lost a game this year (7-0), I for one believe they not only win but put an old fashion butt whoopin on the Lions! Raves The offense was not the prettiest this game but Rodgers did get rolled up on about the 5th play of the game and played with a tight calf cramping…

The Stage is Set

Well the stage is set for the "Big Game". The Lions will have to come to Lambeau, a place they have not won a game at since 1991 and they get there knowing that they have gotten at least four of their 11 wins by the skin of their teeth in the second half of games that they had every reason to lose.  The Packers, on the other hand, have been sensational at home, beating down opponents and sitting Aaron Rodgers on the sidelines from time to time.
