We heard it all last off-season from Bears fans. "The Packers paid that exorbitant contract for seven sacks a season? Peppers is washed up. He's on the downhill slide in his career." As it turns out, we paid that large contract for two interceptions for 101 yards and two touchdown. In the deal we got some nice bonuses; 7 sacks, 34 tackles, and 3 fumble recoveries. Knowing that Bears fans had to sit by and watch Julius accomplish all that last season... makes me smile. Still, the Packers must prepare for the inevitable. (more…)

The Stage is Set

Well the stage is set for the "Big Game". The Lions will have to come to Lambeau, a place they have not won a game at since 1991 and they get there knowing that they have gotten at least four of their 11 wins by the skin of their teeth in the second half of games that they had every reason to lose.  The Packers, on the other hand, have been sensational at home, beating down opponents and sitting Aaron Rodgers on the sidelines from time to time. Well the Packers second preseason game against the Rams is almost here and Packernation looks forward to watching their team play a dry game this time. I've been wondering what Nick Perry will bring to the Packer defense in his sophomore season. Technically speaking, he isn't a rookie any more.
