The Green Bay Packers were an offensive juggernaught last season. Averaging 386.1 yards per game and 30.4 points per game, the Packers gave defensive coordinators fits last season. Mike McCarthy addressed the media today after OTA's and I gotta say I, while there was not a whole lot of information about individual players, I really liked what I heard. First of all, McCarthy made it a point to express that he is enjoying himself. In response to a question about his more active role in the special teams unit, he responded, "Coaching is still coaching regardless of what position you work with. There are always some guys that come into OTA's as long shots, but some of their stories are so compelling that you just can't help but root for them. Sometimes we even want one of these long shots to win out over a vet...for example a Carl Bradford (excited to see if Bradford makes a leap this year) over a Brad Jones last season. The Measure of a Draft…

Draft classes will always be measured and graded just days after the selections are made and before the players even take the field. This may not be fair but it is a reality. This is a "What have you done for me lately" league and it is becoming a "What will you do for me" league.
