Mike McCarthy addressed the media today after OTA's and I gotta say I, while there was not a whole lot of information about individual players, I really liked what I heard. The first two picks for the Packers this year were defensive backs. With the departure of Tramon Williams and Davon House in free agency, this fact should reassure Packers fans who knew all along that Ted Thompson would not draft for need. At pick number 30 in this year's draft, the Packers picked a safety that they believe can be a pro cornerback in Damarious Randall. With an interception returned for touchdown in each of his last two seasons, the 5'11" 196 pound safety would have also been the best cornerback on the Sun Devil's team but played safety because of team need. Charles Davis in his 4th mock draft has Jalen Collins, the cornerback out of LSU going to the Packers. While Collins is likely to still be on the board, the question is - is he worth our first round pick?
