Aaron Rodgers and Jordy NelsonThe day we’ve all been waiting for over the past year may finally be upon us.

We all knew that we’d miss Jordy’s presence on the field when he went down with his knee injury last season. What I don’t think any of us were prepared for was just how much we’d miss his presence on the field. I don’t think there was a single Packer fan, journalist, or even professional analyst that would have predicted the Packer passing attack to drop all the way to #25.

Most Dangerous Substance on Earth - Packer Offense

Well, Aaron seems pretty confident that Jordy’s return is close and apparently quite hopeful that it will be this week.

Of course, even if it’s true, we won’t get to see Jordy in action any time soon. He’ll likely sit during at least the first half of the preseason and get very few reps in the final game of the preseason and likely the first few games of the regular season.

Still, just seeing him back in action will help Packer Nation breath a huge sigh of relief.
