Packers Daily Headlines 11/7/18

Packers make another “addition by subtraction” and another non-player to make the Packers Hall of Fame.

Packers Release Whitehead:

Just two days after he was ejected from the Patriots game for an open-handed slap that caught the attention of the refs, the Packers have released Jermaine Whitehead. The move is the second time a player is out due to in-game mistakes though Ty Montgomery had done enough to be traded.

More Roster Moves:

The Packers have also signed CB Will Redmond to the active roster from the practice squad, and signed LB Brady Sheldon to the practice squad, placed WR Geronimo Allison on injured reserve. Allison has a serious groin injury that may require surgery.

Ted Thompson to the Packers HOF:

The Packers announced that they will inducted former GM Ted Thompson into the Packers Hall of Fame in May. Thompson’s teams went to nine playoffs and won Super Bowl XLV.

McCarthy Presser Today:

Mike McCarthy will have his weekly press conference today from 10:25 am to 10:45 am. You can watch it here.
