Montgomery may turn out to be a good one, but after 2 cb’s & now another player at a position already w/ good talent, I’m puzzled by this pick. But I’m sure that TT or one of the coaches will say something about how good he is. Maybe TT doesn’t think much of our backup wr’s? We do need a good returner, but another wr?
Can we count on TT picking an ilb in 4th rd tomorrow? I know; I know. You never know how the draft will actually play out. But still…

I agree why another we ! We are very deep at that position. We need ilbs and offensive line players. Are they looking for trade material?

Looking at his stats and all the dropped balls, perhaps they are considering him for CB…only 1 year of football experience not much to undo…but I cannot see picking a project in the 3rd round when there are so many needs.

Montgomery was a All American in 2013 but had some nagging injuries last year. This a slightly bigger, stronger version of Randell Cobb. Remember the Packers/New England game where the Packers were killing them on passing routes with Cobb in the backfield? Same thing with this guy, get the ball in his hands in space and let him work! New England beat Seattle with quick passes to players like Vereen, Edelman, and Amendola. He could even run the ball out of the backfield and was the best PR/KR in the draft.
