Bryan Bulaga will be staying with the Pack. Initial reports yesterday indicated that he and the Packers had reached a deal and no one in Packernation is happier than Aaron Rodgers. Bulaga has been a stalwart right tackle for the Packers (drafted 23rd overall in 2010) and during the times he has been injured, he has been sorely missed.
According to ESPN’s Chris Mortensen, Bulaga has agreed to a five-year, $33.75 million deal, which equates to $6.75 million per season. This number was enough to keep Bulaga in Green Bay and keep the Packers O-line intact. This for an offensive line that many consider one of the top ten or so in the NFL.
So celebrate, Packernation! And celebrate Aaron Rodgers, because the Packers have kept your O-line together and hopefully next season, you won’t even get your jersey grass-stained!
Go Pack!
This is better news than getting Cobb signed actually but I still do not see it on the official packer site! He is still listed as a free agent and on NFL.com he is listed as re-signing but not yet signed so when the ink is on the paper I will feel better
