The Most Important Piece of the Puzzle

The Packers take on the Super Bowl defending Seahawks tomorrow night in what may be the best game ofJulius Peppers Packers the opening weekend of NFL season play. Green Bay has a revamped defense and Seattle has a defending number one defense. The Packers have a well balanced offensive attack and the Seahawks have a few new toys to play with. What is this game going to look like? Who will be the hero? Who will win…

These are questions that we can all stew about until the pads go on and the players take the field tomorrow night. This is FOOTBALL!

Packers SafetyHere are the differences between last year’s Packers defense and the guys that will take the field tomorrow night:

  1. The Packers are healthy
  2. The Packers added Julius Peppers to the defense
  3. The Packers moved Micah Hyde to the safety position and drafted Ha Ha Clinton-Dix
  4. The Packers are expecting Datone Jones to step it up
  5. Mike Daniels has promised a new attitude on this year’s defense.

While the Packers defense is expected to be much improved, the Seahawks offense has added Percy Harvin to its cadre of attackers, making the Russell Wilson led offense a force to be reckoned with. This offense was enough to put up 43 points on the Broncos and will not back off against the Packers tomorrow night.

Can the Packers defense hold the Seattle offense to 24-31 points tomorrow night? If they can, the Packers have a chance. The Packers offense is the type that should average between 28-34 points this season. That may be the difference in this year’s season opener.

But what do you think? What do you think is the most important piece of the puzzle in tomorrow night’s game? Let me know in the comment section below…

Ha’Sean Clinton Dix should have been given more Reps with the 1st Team and should be Starting…but stay tuned..Clinton Dix will be starting no later than before or after the 3rd game of the Season,,
If Dom Capers is As Smart as many people think he is…he will realize the major error in his decision to Continue with the ” Hyde Experiment ” at Safety.. instead of the right decision to give Dix the necessary 1st Team Reps..

Packer Fans…if we’re lucky in Thursday night’s game against Seattle..Russel Wilson will repeatedly attempt to throw at The Rookie Clinton-Dix….If Russel does..You will see why Clinton-Dix has always been rated the best Safety which as t he does..
My Prediction.. Packers vs Seahawks ..Packers 31..Seahawks20

I agree with Kurt. Contain Wilson and get pressure up the middle. Matthews and Peppers biggest job in this game is to set the edge. If they can do that, Jones, Boyd, Daniels and company can have a big game pressuring Wilson, and Hayward, Shields, Williams and company could see some inaccurate passes thrown their way.
