The Packers take on the Super Bowl defending Seahawks tomorrow night in what may be the best game of the opening weekend of NFL season play. Green Bay has a revamped defense and Seattle has a defending number one defense. The Packers have a well balanced offensive attack and the Seahawks have a few new toys to play with. What is this game going to look like? Who will be the hero? Who will win…
These are questions that we can all stew about until the pads go on and the players take the field tomorrow night. This is FOOTBALL!
- The Packers are healthy
- The Packers added Julius Peppers to the defense
- The Packers moved Micah Hyde to the safety position and drafted Ha Ha Clinton-Dix
- The Packers are expecting Datone Jones to step it up
- Mike Daniels has promised a new attitude on this year’s defense.
While the Packers defense is expected to be much improved, the Seahawks offense has added Percy Harvin to its cadre of attackers, making the Russell Wilson led offense a force to be reckoned with. This offense was enough to put up 43 points on the Broncos and will not back off against the Packers tomorrow night.
Can the Packers defense hold the Seattle offense to 24-31 points tomorrow night? If they can, the Packers have a chance. The Packers offense is the type that should average between 28-34 points this season. That may be the difference in this year’s season opener.
But what do you think? What do you think is the most important piece of the puzzle in tomorrow night’s game? Let me know in the comment section below…
