The Packers have signed DE Ray Drew. The signing was announced by the team today.

Drew is a 6-foot-4, 300-pound player out of the University of Georgia, who entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with Miami in May 2015. He played in three preseason contests for the Dolphins before being released on Aug. 30. Drew was signed to Cleveland’s practice squad on Oct. 6 and was with the Browns for four games. At Georgia, he was a four-year letterman (2011-14), appearing in 13 games with 11 starts as a senior and recording 39 tackles and three blocked kicks (tied for most in the NCAA).

For a big man, the dude can move 4.8 in the forty but not overly strong, 18 reps on the bench press. He’s the kind versatile, ‘elephant ‘ body capers loves. I guess we’ll see what he looks like come preseason, definitely on the watch list.
