I am glad he is going to be here longer myself…He is a good coach he just needs to stop being so predictable with his play calling is all…I think he needs to let the OC call plays sometimes.

I am glad MM is going to be our coach for a long time however Green Bay is wasting away a Hall Of Fame Quarterbacks career with a very poor defense. Sad thing is the defense has been bad for a while and it appears very little is being done to fix it. We are 32nd (dead last) in run defense and 20th in total defense. JUST FIX IT!

I am fine with McCarthy but please do something about Capers! The defense stinks and all we get from Capers is excuses. He doesn’t demand excellence he allows adequacy as sufficient only because he’s counting on Rodgers to carry the weight. Capers needs to go.

I think the timing is pretty lousy. McCarthy hired and has constantly supported Capers, so if they’re a package deal, I’d rather have a new package. His play calling is predictable and at times mind boggling with onside kicks, replacing our WR with our OLB, forcing a non-existent run game, and providing no depth on the O-line to run block and protect Rodgers. His highest paid defensive player can’t stay on the field and hasn’t been a factor at all this year. Etc., etc..

I’m not necessarily against giving him a new contract, as don’t mean much in the NFL today. But I think it’s a mistake to show so much support for him with a 5-3 record and currently not in the NFC playoff mix (if the season were to end today). He’s being paid like a 5 time SB winner, which he’s not.
